Q. Where can I go after the bands finish?
A. There will be an aftershow party on Saturday night. Sunday evenings are for sleeping.

Q. Do we need a covid pass?
A. As in line with the latest government guidelines, there will be no covid restrictions or requirements in place. However, we do recommend all attendees, artists and staff to take a lateral flow test before and after the event. There is ‘viruskiller’ UVC air filtration units throughout the venue. We will be opening doors when possible to increase airflow. There is an outdoor area for when you need a break.

Q. Is there a cloakroom?
A. Yes, it costs £1 per item. Please ask at the bar.

Q. Where is the best place to park?
A. After 5pm there is free parking on the streets behind the venue. There are bays available on Old Market Street from 6.45pm. Alternatively, you can park at Cabot circus car park which is 1.2 miles from the venue.

Q. I don’t seem to have received my ticket/e-ticket? What should I do? Will I be able to get in without one?
A. Yes. We don’t encourage wasting paper on printed tickets so we will have a list of ticketholders. Please ensure you have a photo ID.

Q. Where can I find out stage times?
A. Online at bristol.Boozecruise.De. There will be printed versions around the venue. We will try to stick to them as closely as possible but cannot guarantee as shit happens.

Q. Can I bring a bag to the festival?
A. Yes you can. Any bags bigger than a backpack will have to be put into the cloakroom and all bags may be subject to be checked by security.

Q. Can I bring a water bottle?
A. For sure! We encourage you to do so and to stay hydrated throughout the weekend. Please ask the bar for water if the dedicated stations are empty.

Q. Will there be alcohol-free beer available?
A. Hell yeah! Despite our silly festival name, we arent all about alcohol.

Q. Can I re-enter the festival if I leave?
A. Of course, as long as you have the correct wristband.

Q. Is this really a cruise?
A. Sorry, but no. No boats are involved.

Q. Why has the lineup changed so much?
A. The world is in a tough spot right now. Travel is hard to predict and expensive. Covid is still around and preventing artists from travelling safely. The live music industry has so many new and unpredictable variables to navigate.

Our festival is focused on providing a platform for bands that may find it hard to tour without anchoring around a festival. Bands have found it hard to fulfil tour dates because people aren’t buying tickets for smaller DIY shows in advance.

Things have largely been out of our control with regard to cancellations. We were in a position to cancel the festival but felt this was not an option as we are conscious that not only bands, but ticket holders have booked and arranged (non-refundable) travel and accommodation. There is a tonne of bands playing, some you may have heard of, some you might not. It will be a good time to check some new music out, make some new friends and have a good time.


Exchange has a small ramp entrance from the street. The bar and main event space are on the ground floor and we have an accessible toilet. The basement is accessed via stairs.

If you would like a member of staff to accompany you to an accessible viewing area please just let us know on the day.

There are parking bays on the opposite side of the road and also behind the venue, about 250 meters away.

If you feel comfortable doing so, please make yourself known to us on arrival and we’ll do everything we can to help. If you are attending the festival without a personal assistant but will require assistance on the day we would encourage you to email before attending so we are best placed to help with your needs. If you require early entrance into the venue as part of your access requirements, please email us before the event and we will be happy to arrange this for you. Please email .

Any harassment, sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, antisemitic, Islamophobic, ableist, transphobic or otherwise offensive activity carried out by any persons will not be tolerated. The festival reserves the right to immediately remove any persons found in breach of this without a refund.
